SOME AUCTION ITEMS ANNOUNCED!!!!!!!!!!

I promise you: you do NOT want to miss this auction!!! We are so excited about the items in our auction this year! Some of our big items that we currently have on the line-up are:
Michael Kors handbag, 2 Meet & Greet/Concert tickets to Joe Nichols, Wisconsin Dells Trip, authentic autographed Yadier Molina Catcher’s Mask, authentic autographed Stan Musial jersey, authentic autographed GARTH BROOKS GUITAR, authentic autographed Kasey Musgraves microphone, authentic autographed Cardinals baseballs, lots of autographed pictures from athletes and other celebrities, a Nashville trip, and much more to be announced over the next few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 weeks from tomorrow we will be celebrating the life of one incredibly amazing little girl! In honor of her birthday, we are donating back to help other families in similar situations.

In order to participate in the auction, you will need to purchase a dine-in dinner ticket since seating is limited! You can get your tickets by sending your “Dinner Ticket Order Form” (found under “Dinner & Auction Information” in the toolbar at the top of this page) or by going to the office at Davis Memorial Christian Church. Please let me know if you have any questions!!!!!!! Carry-out tickets are also available!!!!

And also a reminder that there are only 9 days to get your registration form in for the $10 discount for the 5K Run/Walk!!!!!!!!!!!!!  From September 1 until the start of the race, we will still be accepting registration forms, but the cost will be $30. In order to be guaranteed your shirt on race day, we must have your form by September 1!!!!!! We have a ton of fun that morning, and have added some fun this year! After the 5K, we will also have a Family Fun Festival consisting of games, barrel rides, face painting, fun hair, temporary tattoo shop, bake sale, and a family basket raffle!!!!! You do not have to participate in the 5K to join us for the Family Fun Festival!!!!!

38 Days!!!!!!!

WOW! Time is really going fast!!! We are down to 38 days until the big fundraiser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a few reminders:

Registration forms and money for the 5K must be received BEFORE September 1 in order to take advantage of the Pre-Registration discounted price of $20. Registration forms will be taken all the way up until the start of the race on September 13, 2014, but the registration will increase to $30/person starting September 1. If you aren’t interested in running or walking in the 5K? No problem! Bring the whole family out to Manner’s Park for the Family Fun Festival that will be going on throughout the morning after the conclusion to the Run/Walk. We will have face painting, games, kids/family basket raffle, barrel rides, balloon launch, bake sale, fun hair, and more to be announced as we get closer! Registration form can be found at the top of this page under “Event Forms.”

Dinner tickets can be ordered as well for a delicious grilled chicken dinner at Krieger’s in Taylorville! Dine-in tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis…and we are VERY limited on the number of dine-in tickets…so don’t wait and order your tickets TODAY!! Carry-out tickets are also available! Your purchase of a dine-in ticket will also be your “ticket in” to the AMAZING auctions (silent & live) for this year…and there are some INCREDIBLE items for the auction this year (I will start posting items in the next couple of weeks)!!!!!!! Tickets for the dinner will only be sold thru September 10 so that we can give a head count to Krieger’s for the meal. The Dinner Ticket Order Form can be found at the top of this page under “Event Forms.”

T-Shirts can be ordered separately. They are $15 each (additional cost for sizes 2X-4X. Please see Registration Form for pricing). If looking to order just a t-shirt, please fill out the 5K Run/Walk Registration Form (under “Event Forms” in the menu at the top of this page) and just select “N/A” as the event.

ALSO, mark your calendars and join us at Bob Evans in Springfield (either Springfield location) the week of August 18-24 from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Bob Evans has graciously agreed to donate 15% of their sales back to our fundraiser!!!!!!!!! In order for us to receive that 15% though, you will need to take in the Bob Evans Community Fundraiser flyer that I have posted under “Event Forms” in the menu at the top of this page. If you would like for me to send you one, please send me an email to brooklynncoxmemorial5k@gmail.com and I can email or mail one to you.

Also, we are looking for pop tabs. If you have any you would like to donate, please bring them out with you on September 13, 2014 or contact me and I can set up a time to get them from you!!!

If you are just wanting to order a t-shirt, you can use either the “5K Run/Walk Registration Form” or the “Dinner & Auction Form” and just fill out the top portion of the form (with your name, address, phone number, etc.) and then the section of the form for the t-shirts.
